Professor Lam led a group of teachers and students from Hong Kong secondary schools to Gansu Province to learn about soybean cultivation, understand the latest developments in national agriculture, and carry out soybean-themed scientific research.
During the five-day trip, they visited the Agricultural History Museum of Northwest University of agriculture and forestry science and technology, Gansu Academy of Agricultural Sciences, the National Water-saving Experimental Station, the Gansu Academy of Agricultural Sciences and the soybean plantation sites.
