On 09 July 2019, Students gathered in CUHK to share on their soybean propagation experience. Being first-time farmer and junior scientists, they shared on their satisfactions on successfully growing the soybean from seeds to seeds, and also difficulties encountered, accompanied with innovative solutions or in-depth reflections. Some students also had interesting findings on how different factors influence their soybean growth.
To wrap up the Phase 1 activities of STEAM @ Soybean 2019, Prof. Lam also delivered an enrichment talk on the theme “Factors limiting Sustainable Agriculture in China” to 60 secondary school students.
